As head of product development 'EYEWEAR' and 'HEAD', I was with UVEX Arbeitsschutz GMBH from 2003 to 2009.
We created safety product like eyewear, hearing protection, helmets, accessories. In the team with me were two model makers and two CAD engineers.
I was responsible for all activities from first sketch to the finalisation of CAD data. Presentations, coordination with other departments, pushing decisions, documentation, budget planning ... that is the additional daily business.
The shown products are already launched and have been sold in growing numbers. More projects will be launched soon. Intelligent design that pushes the technical limits allows to keep the production plant in Germany. The market will judge the results.
